Information Technology Management (ITM) Professional Certificate Programs offered through the Office of Professional Development of Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) are semester long training classes designed for working professionals who are either looking to upgrade their IT and IT management skills or make a career change into the field of computer technology and/or technology management.
ITM specific classes are a combination of lecture and lab allowing for hands-on practice of skills and concepts presented. All classes are taught by professionals who enhance the learning process with real world knowledge and experience. Classes may be taken as individual courses or as a three or four course certificate program sequence awarding the participant a Professional (3+ courses) or Career (2 courses) Certificate in one of the concentrations listed below.

ITM Professional Certificate Programs are one of the many groups of offerings within the Office of Professional Development department which has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102. In obtaining this approval, the Office of Professional Development of the School of Applied Technology has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is widely recognized as the Standard of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider accreditation status, the Office of Professional Development is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.
